It’s finished! Rex Rogue! My mini comic!
I’ve gotta get better at stapling but I’m still extremely happy with how these turned out.
I’m gonna sell these at Kids Read Comics this weekend.
WHOO!
Rex Rogue and Jack the Monster.
Concept sketch from sketchbook.
I’m nearly half done!
I’m very excited to be this far so quickly. I literally started putting it in digitally two weeks ago today. So I’m glad that I can say I have four pages complete.
I’ll be making one of these for everyone in the dump truck. Yey original arts! (Taken with picplz.)
Here’s another screencap of progress on my Mini. I think I might have to take a break to work on another mini for promotion at KRC and I have commissions I REALLY need to finish like soon.
I’m getting closer to the end and I couldn’t be happier.
Our hero, ladies and gentlemen.

So on top of everything I should be doing, accepted to be apart of a comics dump truck. I’ve wanted to do something like this for so long so it’s good that I finally found a group to do this with.
For those who don’t know: A mini comics dump truck is where a bunch of cartoonists get together and each make a mini comic. When the deadline rolls around, you print up your comic and send it out to everyone else on the list, and they send one to you.
They are usually regulated to a minimum of 8 pages not including cover and back. Sometimes they’ll have a theme. Like right now, the dump truck that I’m getting involved in, the theme is monsters. For this group, it’s just a guide to help bump ideas around. You can do whatever you please. Sometimes other dump trucks are like this, but it really depends.
This is the first dump truck I’ve been involved with but I know a thing or two about others.
The dump truck that I’m doing ships out the first week in August. So I’ve got time to come up with something. This is exciting and just the thing I want to be involved in.
